Meet Heather
Heather received her B.S. in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago and Florida State University and her M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. She is currently serving as a private practitioner and has had a variety of experience with clients of all ages. Heather has over 15 years of experience working as both an Elementary School Counselor and as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
Specializing in individual, couples, and family therapy, she utilizes techniques found in narrative and collaborative system approaches. She integrates her knowledge of psychology and education to provide therapeutic services.
In addition to her experiences as a practitioner, Heather provides consultation and training to a variety of organizations who want to improve their work/life balance, communication skills, and stress management. She also teaches graduate courses in mental health counseling at Prescott College and is a Qualified Supervisor. She oversees interns as they work towards completing their requirements towards licensure.
